A Pharmacist is an allied health professional who is responsible for safe and effective use of medications. He/she not only distributes prescription drugs to individuals, but also advises his/her patients, physicians, and other health practitioners on the selection, dosages, interactions, and side effects of medications.

To become a pharmacist, it is important to take university level education in order to fully understand biochemical mechanisms of action of drugs, drug uses and medicinal roles, side effects, possible interactions, and monitoring parameters. Moreover, it is essential for pharmacists to graduate from an accredited pharmacy college and successfully undergo a series of examinations to be licensed.

Manages pharmacy operations, hiring and supervising staff, performing administrative duties, and buying and selling non-pharmaceutical merchandise; assesses the identity, strength and purity of medications. Examines radiopharmaceuticals, verifies rates of disintegration, and calculates the volume required to produce the desired results, to ensure proper dosages. Teaches pharmacy students serving as interns in preparation for their graduation or licensure; Reviews prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability; Provides information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage. Advises customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment and health-care supplies; Analyzes prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions; Orders and purchases pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs, maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly. Maintains records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records for radioactive nuclei, and registries of poisons, narcotics, and controlled drugs.

  • Divide the financial associate resume into separate sections and subsections along with short paragraphs and bulleted points in order to make it easily readable.
  • Give all necessary details, such as full name, contact information, telephone numbers, permanent address, email address, and career objective.
  • Write your major professional achievements as financial associate next to the objective section as this gives an idea about quantifiable results of your work.
  • Since Professional Experience section is very important for the financial associate job, therefore, it should be above the Academic Qualifications section.

  • Write all major skills that are pertinent to the financial associate in Skills section.
