An event coordinator is a person whose job is to plan a range of occasions, including shows, concerts, or performances, fetes or festivals, exhibitions and fairs, weddings, meetings, social gatherings, photo-shoots, charity dinners, and publicity related product launches.

Event coordinators can be freelance, work for an event management company, or directly for a particular company, celebrity or brand.
